Eugenie Guetraud
Eugenie is a woman of nature and plants. She is a herbalist, a profession occupied by women for generations. All her knowledge comes from women she met in her travels.
After living for years in her camping car in France, she came to Brussels to study plants and found a home at a collective in Laeken, Le Clef.
Eugenie's home offers an escape from the city into a whole community built around sharing, recycling, nature, and creativity.
Eugenie's community is also home to her garden, which she cares for together with her partner. From this garden, she cultivates plants for her medicinal and herbal products. In her atelier, she makes creams, soups, teas, oils and many other products which she deems useful and beautiful at the same time.
One of her favorite plants is the millepertuis (hypericum) which is good for the skin. Another is chanvre (hemp) which has many medicinal qualities.
